My name is Martien Lek I am 31 years old. I was born in Nieuwveen (that’s a small place in Holland near the auction of Aalsmeer).
I am the Vice Chairman of eFIG.
After attending horticultural school I started working for IGD in London and stayed there for 2 years.
I really enjoyed the 2 years working in the interior landscaping industry, so when I went back to Holland I started working for a same sort of company.
Now I have been with Nieuwkoop Europe for 9 years, doing the sales towards the UK.
Nieuwkoop supplies the interior landscapers and other businesses but what makes it interesting is the fact that it never gets boring. There are constantly new planters and plants coming in and every project is different.
