How to Grow a Planet is a series of 3 programmes on BBC2 starting tonight, Tuesday 7th February at 9 p.m. and presented by Professor Iain Stewart.

He’ll talk about the importance of plants to the planet, how they harness light from the sun to create our life-giving atmosphere and how they talk to one another.

Prof Stewart of Plymouth University locked himself in a box with just plants last year to see if he could survive on the oxygen they produced!
