‘Green’ plant container

eFIG member Ambius’ colleagues in Australia have unveiled a new container design, the work of Australia’s Designer of the Year, Helen Kontouris.

The Zoie (Greek for Living thing) is only available through Ambius.  The pot is fully recyclable, VOC free and comes in three sizes, desk top (small), medium and large as well as with legs.

It is two-tone - one colour on the outside and one on the inside.  The pots are suitable for inside or out but that may just be in the Australian climate!

The pot is made from polyethylene and unlike many other new products doesn’t off-gas into the atmosphere.  So the plant inside it can concentrate on mopping-up any gases coming from other man-made products in its surroundings like carpets, furniture and other accessories!
